Today, I want to talk with you a bit about security. I have touched on it a little in a previous blog, but I would like to go a bit more in-depth into what we do at Dream-Marriage.com to make certain that our customers have the safest and most secure dating experience available on the internet.
A few weeks ago I wrote an article titled She Loves Me, She loves Me Not: Dating Russian Women Online Safely in which I expressed my belief that online security at any dating website – and indeed at any website you do business with – is a partnership between the site and the customer. Unfortunately as I look around the internet at websites that are in the same business as we are at Dream-Marriage.com, I find that a very large number of online dating websites seem to have taken position that this is all the security that their customers require; that, in essence, the responsibility for online security rests solely with their customers and not with them. Though I find it hard to believe, the vast majority of websites that I look at in the online dating business have little to no security in place for their customers! Their attitude, it seems, is to take your money, advise you to be careful, and walk away.
To be honest, I find this appalling, because Dream-Marriage.com has spent over ten years trying to rehabilitate the image online dating started out with. There was a time – and it wasn’t all that long ago – when online dating sites of all kinds had a bad reputation. Either they were little better than porn sites, or they were just fronts for stealing identities and credit card information. Today, some of us have managed to help the industry rehabilitate itself, and we have proven to the world that just because we have thousands of the hottest Russian women on the internet choosing to use our site doesn’t mean we are not a legitimate, above-board business. Most of the time, of course, these reports are nothing more than misunderstandings, but we suspend any account under investigation immediately after we receive a complaint until we are completely certain that everything with that account is legitimate and above board. In the rare instance that we do find something to be amiss, the account is banned, and immediately deleted.

Dream Marriage's New Voice Chat Service
Hello, and welcome to my blog. My name is Tim Zelmer and I have worked in the online dating industry for the last ten years. Online dating is about bringing people together and making people happy and, at the end of the day, it just doesn’t get any better than that!
